The Microsoft is not much famous for creating the server-grade operating system. That’s why the server administrators love the Linux Operating system more than Windows Alternatives. But now, the Microsoft is ready to launch the Windows 10 Workstation Edition for server grade computers. It’s been almost 20 years since the Microsoft has used the “Workstation” in their brand. Now, they are ready to launch the OS. The information was accidentally leaked through the Test build, released to the Testers.

The accidental Build, which is named as the Windows 10 Pro for Workstations PCs. This system will come with some amazing features, useful for the Servers and Data centers. The build focuses on the people who are using the Server grade hardware or using the powerful computers to process a large amount of data. Here are some features that we can see in the “Windows 10 Pro for the Workstation computers”.

The first and most important feature that is coming with this build is the ReFS. The Resilient File system, which is going to be the Successor of NTFS, proprietary file system by the Microsoft. The new file system supports Fault-tolerance, easily handle large amounts of Data, and also the auto-correction.

Another most interesting feature is the Workstation mode. This mode is critical because it can identify the current usage of the computer from Normal Computing to the Intensive Computing. The Workstation Mode will help the user to switch from normal mode to intensive mode. The third feature is going to be the extended support to the hardware. The Windows 10 Pro for Workstation PCs will now support the computers with 4 Processors and nearly 6TB of RAM. A currently available version of Windows Server supports the two processors only.

This build is expected to come in few months as the test version is out for testing. The Windows 10 Pro for Workstation is focused more on the Enterprises than the Individual users.
