Capcom has revealed six new characters for Street Fighter Five in a surprise announcement made at the conclusion of Capcom Cup 2017. The rota of newcomers consists few long-listed favourites from fan, along with two all new fighters for the game.

The bounce back characters include Cody and Sakura, and both of them made their first entry in the Alpha series, and Blanka and Sagat who have been there since the series of Street Fighter 2. Meanwhile, the two new characters are; the two new characters- Falke; a new fighter who is female and seems like is closely connected to Ed, and G; a bearded presidential-looking man sporting a comparatively large tophat.

The Street Fighter V of the Season 3 content is made up with these three new characters. The revelation headed as a pretty surprising, since Capcom has conventionally revealed each character at a time, rather than a full lineup for the entire season.

Sakura will be obtainable on 1st January, 2018, just when the Street Fighter Five: Arcade Edition unveils. Along with the new character there will be Battle, Story, and also reminiscence costumes those available for her. She also gets herself a stage here, the Kasugano Residence that is inspired by the Alpha 2 Stage of her. The release dates of the other five new characters have not yet been confirmed.

The Collection of Street Fighter 30th Anniversary was also announced during the Capcom Cup. The collection features total 12 games from all over the series, that includes the original Street Fighter, Street Fighter 1, 2, & 3: Third Strike, and Street Fighter Alpha 3. The compendium is expected to launch in 2018 on May, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. Online play will be accessible for Street Fighter Turbo, and Street Fighter 2.

The Street Fighter; Arcade Edition is the new version of the flagship of its Capcom fighting game and will be available for PC and PlayStation 4. The latest updated version will also be having post-release content from the game’s Season 1 and Season2, along with other new changes within gameplay.
