Xiaomi will release its Black Shark gaming phone very soon as it is displayed online in a new sketch. A series of leaks of the long-rumored Black Shark phone are already covered by previous reports and now, this new sketch shows the phone’s a few of the design elements.


The OEM, the company manufactures parts and equipment that may be marketed by another manufacturer has already announced that its new gaming phone is releasing on next Friday, April 13 in China.

The image shows that the Black Shark Phone will come with rounded corners on all sides taking an X shape with the top and much more angular shape at the bottom sides. There’s a green slider around the right edge of the phone.

According to the leaks, the Black Shark phone features Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon 845 chip with 8GB of RAM.  It will have a display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels.

Another report has also revealed that the phone will also be available in a 6GB variant with 128GB storage, supporting Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charge. At the software side, the new smartphones expected to come with Android Oreo with a number of MIUI features.

Moreover, the device adds four antenna bands on both the top and bottom corners: the GPS and Wi-Fi antennas, at the top-left corner while LTE at the right side. At the bottom, the right-sided antenna will be reserved for Wi-Fi MIMO and left for the LTE. The Xiaomi-backed company has not yet revealed the pricing details.
